Refreshingly convenient

I've pretty much taken care of getting the family vaccinated against hep A, hep B as well as all of the routine immunizations in preparation for travel, but one thing I hadn't gotten was the typhoid shots. My mother just got a bunch of shots at a travel clinic, and I decided I better get on the ball with that. I looked around online and found a pediatrician in our area who does travel vaccinations. I called his office, and he will give all four kids and me typhoid shots. This doctor is one of the last solo practice docs in the area, an old fashioned gentleman doctor; I remember that my kids saw him once a long time ago because he used to cover our own (former) solo pediatrician's practice. I remember reading something about him in the local paper a few years ago about how he paid a housecall in a snowstorm to a mother and her new baby. What a treasure!
