Today I went to the AmVets, my Monday morning ritual. I don't know why I call it the AmVets; it's what Kerry told me to call it 15 years ago when I started going. It's actually called "Value Village". I've clothed all of my children by shopping here, furnished my house, satisfied my urge to buy stuff when I didn't have much money. Now I shop here as part of my job. Monday is senior citizens' day. I see the same ladies here every Monday; one lady gives me a coupon every time I see her. I love the place.
