As I drove Clara to school yesterday- a bright, sunny September morning- I passed a young mother unloading her jogging stroller so she could take a brisk walk with her baby on the trolley trail; I saw two kids bike riding to school (helmets on!); the yellow school bus in front of me passed the friendly crossing guard who waved vigorously at the children and then turned to talk to the older couple taking their old dog on a morning constitutional. I then dropped Clara at nursery school which is still adorned with blue ribbons in support of a neighborhood child who has been hospitalized.
It's like Blue Velvet- without the ear.

Maybe you should put oven locks on so you won't be tempted to put your head in...
"Not me, baby, I got you to save me..."
