WE GOT TA TODAY!!!
We have requested a consulate appointment for 7/24 or 7/25. That would mean we leave for Beijing 7/10, just as planned.
We won't get confirmation of our consulate appointment until Monday or Tuesday, but I can be more specific in searching for flights now.
I sent off the letter to the director of the orphanage.
I also decided to buy a charm bracelet for my daughter's foster mother; I got a sterling silver chain and several charms: USA, China, a heart, a rooster which is C's birth year, Chinese characters for "mother", "love" and "friendship", and a locket that I can put C's picture in.

I often show friends the album and every time they turn away in fright. Wish Dad would have blown it up poster size for me like he had wanted. Linda

I laugh every time I think about hiding that somewhere where you would find it. I still owe you ever since you hid under my bed and caught me coming out of the shower.

Nay Nay dear sis, you got me good when you hid that fucking rubber taranchula in my suitcase. it ended up in a dumpster somewhere in northern new mexico!
